Three people were riding in a van that was pulling a trailer when the vehicle rolled over, leaving two dead and one injured. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the victims during this difficult time, and we wish the remaining victim a quick and full recovery.

Police are unclear on exactly what happened to cause this crash. We often see rollovers caused when drivers have to swerve to avoid something or when a vehicle is impacted by another vehicle. This Arizona rollover accident could have occurred because debris was in the road, animals were running across the road, other cars straying out of their designated lanes, unsafe lane passing, and more. Cases like this deserve proper and thorough investigation to find out exactly what happened.

By Breyer Law Offices on January 11, 2012 - No comments

As Mesa wrongful death attorneys, we were very sorry to hear of the death of a man as he rode his mobility scooter across the street near Fiesta Mall in Mesa on January 4, according to AZ Central. A Ford Mustang convertible hit him at about 9:45 a.m. on Southern Avenue. New reports have said he was not in a crosswalk when the vehicle struck him. Many people think that if they cross outside of a designated crosswalk, they don’t have a case, however, this is not always true. Our thoughts and condolences are with the man’s family at this time.

Causes of This Mesa Car Accident

Police are unsure of what caused this fatal car accident in Arizona. It is possible that there were many different factors at play, such as a distracted driver, speeding, or more. Currently, police have ruled out impairment. If the oncoming driver was distracted by a cell phone, a passenger in his car, putting the convertible top down on his car, or other factors, he could still be at fault. Also, if the driver was speeding or making an unsafe lane change, he may be at fault as well. A case like this deserves professional investigation to determine exactly what happened.

Prescott Valley Car Accident Kills NAU Student

By Breyer Law Offices on January 4, 2012 - No comments

As Arizona fatal car accident attorneys, we were shocked and saddened to hear about a 20-year-old Northern Arizona University student’s death in a Prescott Valley car accident on Christmas Eve, December 24. It occurred at 3:20 a.m., according to a report in Fox 10. The student and his passenger were not wearing seatbelts. While the passenger was able to walk away with minor injuries, the driver died at the hospital after being airlifted to Phoenix. Our deepest condolences go out to the driver’s family.

Causes of This Prescott Valley Car Accident

Police say that alcohol may have played a role in this Arizona fatal rollover auto accident and plan to test the driver’s blood. They also say that the driver most likely would have survived if he had been wearing a seatbelt, and that it is a shock that the passenger wasn’t thrown from the car after it rolled several times – especially since he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt either. Still, many car accidents happen and regardless of whether the person was wearing a seatbelt, the car accident is still not their fault. Just because you are not wearing your seatbelt in a car accident does not mean you are not entitled to an injury claim.

What Do Prescott Valley Car Accident Attorneys Do?

As Prescott Valley car accident attorneys, we think it is important that people know what resources are available to them if they or a family member are hurt in a car accident. The Husband and Wife Law Team at Breyer Law Offices, P.C. works closely with car accident victims and their families to make sure they receive the best possible medical care. We work to obtain settlements from at-fault drivers to pay for medical and funeral expenses and more. We also help victims injured in accidents in which alcohol played a part. Just because you are driving with a drunk driver or you do not wear your seatbelt does not mean you cannot have a successful injury claim. Every case is different and that is why it is always best when you are in a car accident to talk to an experienced injury lawyer. Contact us today for a free consultation.

Fatal Chandler Car Collision Results in Murder Charges

By Breyer Law Offices on November 4, 2011 - No comments

An experienced car accident lawyer can help assist Chandler car accident victims in making sure that drivers who were driving drunk and caused an accident are found responsible. ABC15 has reported that a man who was involved in an automobile accident last October 8, 2011 in Chandler was accused of first-degree murder due to his negligent actions that resulted in a death. Police stated that the accident occurred early morning and the suspect appeared to be driving impaired. He ran a red light at McQueen Road, and then turned left at Island Drive in Gilbert. Police at this point were following the driver and lost sight of him. It was determined that the driver may have been travelling as much as 100 miles per hour. The suspect went back to Warner Road and again failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of McQueen Road and collided with another car. The car the suspect hit was carrying a father and his 7-year-old and 11-year-old son. The younger child sustained serious injuries and the 11-year-old boy was killed. The father was treated in the hospital but was later released.

Based on reports after the accident, the suspect ran out of his vehicle to hide from police but officers were able to find him. The officers noticed that the suspect had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath and had watery bloodshot eyes, and they also observed that he had slurred speech. It was later found that his alcohol level was at 0.235 and there were traces of amphetamine in his system. He now faces first-degree murder, three counts of aggravated assault, and unlawful flight from law enforcement. The bond was set at $ 750,000.
